Fishing at the Domaine de la Grenouillère
40 ha of private ponds crossed by the Somme. No permit needed, by the day, during your stay or all year.
Wild ponds, well stocked with fish
In Frise, in the heart of the Upper Somme valley, the domain offers anglers a 800 m stretch open to day tickets, as well as swims, private banks and boat-fishing areas rented by the year. Part of the domain is very wild and offers real immersion in protected nature.
Wild carp, pike, zander and coarse fish: superb specimens are caught every season. Predators and carp are fished on a no-kill basis.
Fine catches every season

Coming to fish: how it works
- In Frise, take the first right after the canal bridge (sign: “Domaine de la Grenouillère”).
- After 400 m, park in our private car park.
- Walk 50 m to the start of the fishing stretch.
- Set up wherever you like along the stretch.
- The bailiff usually comes round in the morning to collect payment.
Good to know
- Fishing is open all year round, even when the campsite is closed.
- No fishing permit needed: the domain is private.
- Carp: you can set up for 24, 48 or 72 hours, day and night.
- Free-standing barbecues allowed, open fires on the ground forbidden. Restrictions may apply in very dry weather and according to prefecture recommendations.
- The bailiff usually comes round in the morning to collect payment.
- Take your rubbish home or sort it into the bins at the campsite exit.
- Arrival on the fishing route between 5 am and 9 pm; you may carry on fishing after 9 pm.
Fishing all year: swims, banks and boat
For more peace and quiet, rent a swim or a private bank by the year – most can be reached by car – or a boat-fishing permit on a reserved part of the ponds (boat shelter available).
All our fishing swims (jetties and private banks) are taken for 2026. We are preparing new swims for 2027: contact us if you would like to be kept informed.
